Change Root Password

This feature allows you to change the root password of your web server without the old password.

This can be useful in the event that the original password is lost or forgotten while you are still logged into WHM. Remember that a secure password should be used. A secure password contains no dictionary words and is comprised of upper- and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols. To change your root password:

1. Enter the new desired password into the New Password field.
2. Confirm the password by typing it into the Confirm New Password field.
3. Click Change Password.
