This set of features lets you configure the language in which the cPanel interface appears, allowing you to create, clone, and install new languages.
About the cPanel Language Files — Before you edit cPanel language files, it may be useful to understand how the system retrieves the text displayed in the cPanel interface.
Statistics Language Config — Your users can view cPanel in a language of their choice. This screen allows you to choose the language with which they will view their web statistics software.
Clone/Create a New Language — This feature allows you to clone an existing cPanel language, creating a copy on your server. This is useful if you want to create your own language file, as it will allow you to edit a language file without destroying the original.
Download a Language File — This feature allows you to download a language file from your server to your computer. This is useful for editing a language file offline. You can upload it later by choosing the Upload a Language File option.
Edit a Language File — This feature offers you 2 methods for editing a language file. 1) You can perform a live edit, wherein you can edit portions of the interface by clicking on them. You can only edit resellers’ accounts, 1 profile at a time, in this way. This option is useful for branding resellers’ and their subordinate users’ accounts. 2) You can also select a language file to edit in the WHM interface. This method will affect all of your users’ language settings.
Upload a Language File — If you would like to upload your own language file, you should first download a language file using the Download a Language File feature, so that you may use it as a template for translation. Once you have made the necessary changes, you are able to access the Upload feature to put the new language file onto your server.
