Disable Database Prefix

For WHM version 11.30

By default, databases are prefixed with the cPanel account's username (e.g. user_database). On this screen, you can disable database prefixing.

To disable database prefixes:

Select the I understand. Please disable Database Prefix checkbox.
Click the Proceed button.

Warning: Disabling database prefixes is not reversible. Do not disable database prefixes without seriously considering the consequences. Once you disable prefixing, you will be unable to downgrade your cPanel/WHM installation to a version that requires prefixes.
