Define a PHP Handler

A PHP handler calls forth the PHP libraries necessary for interpreting the PHP code. Which libraries are accessed depends on which handler you choose to use. You may assign different PHP handlers to different versions of PHP.

For example, version 5 may be handled by CGI while PHP 4 is handled by DSO.

Note: If PHP is not built into EasyApache, you will not see any handlers to select.

To define new PHP handlers:

1. Select which handlers you would like to handle 1 or both versions of PHP.
2. In the appropriate pull-down menu select the handler you would like to use for each version of PHP.
3. Click Save New Configuration.
