File Manager

The File Manager allows you to upload and manage files contained within your home directory. The File Manager will open inside your browser and will allow you to add, remove, and move files associated with your account.

When you click the File Manager icon from the WSO home screen, a pop-up window allows you to specify which directory you want to view. Your options are:

• Home directory — This directory houses all the files associated with your account — public and private.
• Web root (public_html/www) — This directory contains all the publicly viewable files in your website.
• Public FTP root (public_ftp) — This directory contains all files that are publicly available via FTP (file transfer protocol).
• Document root for: [select domain] — Choose this option if you wish to manage files for a domain other than your main domain — for example, a subdomain or addon domain.
