IP Deny Manager
Use this feature to block access to your websites from a single IP address or a range of IP addresses. Fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) can also be banned.
About FQDNs: A fully qualified domain name uniquely defines a domain's location. It is usually seen as
host.example.com. with a trailing dot. For the purposes of Enkompass, including a final dot is not necessary, but the domain name must contain at least 2 dots.
Deny (ban) an IP address
IP addresses can be added in 2 different ways:
- Single IP Address (Example: 10.5.3.333)
- Implied Range (Example: 10.5.3.3-40)
Allow an IP address
To remove a denied IP address, click the checkbox in the list next to the appropriate IP address.
Then, click the
Delete button, and click
OK to confirm the deletion.
