Access Lists

For WHM version 11.32

(Main >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Editor >> Access Lists)

These options serve to further limit who is able to send mail to your server.

To select Access Lists options:

  1. Click the Access Lists tab.
  2. Click the appropriate button for the option or click Edit to the right of the option. If you click Edit, you will be directed to a new page.
  3. Follow the instructions above and below the editing box, which explain what information can and cannot be entered.
  4. Click Save.

Automatically whitelist known mobile device providers

This option allows you to automatically place known mobile device providers on a whitelist. If you choose to enable this option, messages from known mobile device providers will bypass the mail filter.

note Note: Mail providers are stored in the /etc/mailproviders/* directory.

Blacklisted SMTP IPs

This option allows you to edit the list of blacklisted SMTP IP addresses. These IP addresses are not allowed to connect to the SMTP server. Connections will be dropped with a 550 error.

Sender verification bypass IPs

This option allows you to edit the list of IP addresses that will be excluded from SMTP sender verification checks.

Only-verify-recipient SMTP hosts/IPs

This option allows you to edit the list of IP addresses and hosts that will be excluded from all SMTP-time spam checks except recipient verification checks.

Trusted SMTP IPs

This option allows you to edit the list of IP addresses that will be excluded from SMTP-time recipient, sender, spam, and relay checks.

Backup MX hosts

This option allows you to edit the list of hosts (with reverse DNS) from which SMTP connections are permitted, regardless of rate limits.
