Configuration File Rollback
For WHM version 11.32
(
Main >> Backup >> Configuration File Rollback)
This feature allows you to restore configuration files for
Apache, Pure-
FTP/ProFTP, and the
nameserver (
named or
nsd) daemons.
This can be useful when the current configuration for any of these daemons is not working, as you can restore a previously working version simply by selecting it from the revision history.
To restore the configuration files:
- Click the button corresponding to the backup you wish to restore.
- The
/usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf button will restore the Apache web server’s configuration file.
- The
/etc/named.conf or /etc/nsd.conf button will restore the nameserver configuration file.
- The button you see will depend on which nameserver you have chosen.
- The
/etc/pure-ftp.conf or /etc/proftp.conf button will restore the FTP server’s configuration file.
- The button you see will depend on which FTP server you have chosen.
- The large text box on the following page contains the current configuration file.
- This file is not editable from this screen.
- Use the < and > buttons to select the backup file you want to use.
- This file’s version number will be displayed in the Revision field between the navigation buttons.
- The date and time of the revision are displayed in the Date field.
- When you are finished making your selections, click Restore.
