Introduction

This feature will allow you to update and reconfigure your Apache web server using a script called EasyApache (EA3). The command line version of this interface can be reached by typing /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/easyapache in the terminal when you are logged in as root.

We recommend that you update to the most current version of your cPanel/WHM build before changing your EasyApache profile. WHM will perform a quick check to see if you are running the most current version. If you are not running the latest update, you will be prompted to update the cPanel/WHM. To update the software:

• Click the Update link in the pop-up.

• Open a terminal session with your server.
• Type scripts/upcp
  • Using this method is generally faster than using the WHM interface.
