This feature will allow you to update and reconfigure your Apache web server using a script called EasyApache (EA3).

  • Introduction — This feature will allow you to update and reconfigure your Apache web server using a script called EasyApache. The command line version of this interface can be reached by typing /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/easyapache in the terminal when you are logged in as root.
  • Profile — This section of the interface allows you to select the profile WHM will use as a template for building an EasyApache profile. You may choose a pre-existing profile, or compile and use a custom profile, using a pre-existing profile as a template.
  • Apache Version — This part of WHM allows you to select which version of Apache you would like to use in this profile.
  • PHP Version — This part of the interface allows you to select which version of PHP you would like to use with this profile.
  • Short Options List — This part of the interface allows you to select the features to include with your EasyApache profile.
  • Exhaustive Options List — This part of the interface allows you to select the features to include with your EasyApache profile.
  • The mod_ruid2 Module? — We added the ability to install and use the mod_ruid2 module in cPanel & WHM 11.32. mod_ruid2 is an Apache extension that allows requests to a domain to run as the owner of that domain, instead of the Apache user. It is similar to suEXEC and suPHP, but applies to all HTTP requests, except those to Java servlets or JSPs.
