Install an RPM

For WHM version 11.32

RPM stands for Red Hat Package Manager and can be used to refer to both a software format and the software packaged within the RPM itself. For more information about RPMs you should visit http://rpm.org/ to view the documentation.

Your cPanel/WHM installation came with a number of RPMs already installed, and the ability to install more. An example of an RPM is a database management systems such as PostgreSQL (http://www.postgresql.org/).

To install an RPM:

  1. Select the RPM you would like to install from the Select packages to install list.
