RBLs

For WHM version 11.32

(Main >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Editor >> RBLs)

Using these options, you can configure your mail server to check incoming mail against the available RBLs and block the incoming messages if the IP or hostname matches an entry.

RBL is short for “Real-time Blackhole List.” These are servers that keep lists of spam-heavy IPs and hostnames so that they can be blocked. The WHM interface accesses 2 RBLs: bl.spamcop.net and zen.spamhaus.org.

To select RBLs options:

  1. Click the RBLs tab.
  2. Click the appropriate button for each option or enter the requested information in the corresponding box.
  3. Click Save.

RBL: bl.spamcop.net

This option allows you to reject mail at SMTP-time if the sender's host is in the bl.spamcop.net RBL. There is more information available on this RBL.

RBL: zen.spamhaus.org

This option allows you to reject mail at SMTP-time if the sender's host is in the zen.spamhaus.org RBL. There is more information available on this RBL.

RBL: zen.spamhaus.org and rbl.spamcop.net
