Modify/Upgrade Multiple Accounts

This feature will allow you to simultaneously change the attributes of multiple accounts. It is important to keep in mind that in this interface, you are changing all of the selected accounts to the same settings.

The interface allows you to search for accounts by user, domain, or reseller/owner. Simply type the search criteria into the available text field on the right. Click Select Matching Users or DeSelect Matching Users to select and deselect users by search criteria, respectively.

Note: When you modify an account, it will override any custom settings you have assigned to the account. For example, if you have given a particular account extra bandwidth on top of the package it was assigned, this setting will be overwritten and you will need to redefine the bandwidth for that account if you wish to keep it the same.

To modify an account’s specifications:

1. Select the accounts you would like to modify.
2. Select the appropriate configuration options from the pull-down menus below.
   • Note: You only need to select options for the items you wish to change.
   • Reseller — Specifies the owner/reseller of the account.
   • Theme — Specifies the default cPanel theme for the account.
   • Start Date — Specifies the date the account was created.
   • Language — Specifies the default display language for the interface.
     • Note: If the cPanel user has specified a language through the cPanel interface, the language cannot be changed here. To change the language, you must log into the cPanel account.
   • Package — Specifies the hosting package. Packages are limitations on bandwidth, disk space, and more. Fore more information about packages, visit our documentation here.
3. Click Change.
