Additional MySQL Access Hosts

For WHM version 11.32

This feature allows your users to remotely access MySQL databases on your web server, or a remote MySQL server that you have set up using the Setup Remote MySQL Server feature.

To configure remote MySQL access:

  1. In the text field, enter remote hostnames from which you want to allow access.
    • You may enter hostnames as fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) or IP addresses. You must specify FQDNs in lowercase letters.
    • Example: host.example.com or 208.77.188.166.
  2. Click Save.

After you have added the hostnames to the access list, your cPanel users must access Remote MySQL and add the hosts.

However, you may click Click Here! to automatically configure this for your cPanel users.
