Park a Domain

For WHM version 11.32

A parked domain is a secondary domain that points to the user’s primary domain. When users attempt to access the parked domain, they will see the main website. For example, both http://www.cpanel.net and http://www.cpanel.com go to the same place, as cpanel.com is a parked domain for cpanel.net.

note Note: A parked domain name must be registered before visitors will be able to access it.

To add a parked domain:

  1. Type the name of the primary domain into the text box at the top of the screen, or select it from the table.
  2. In the Domain to park text box, enter the domain name you wish to park.
  3. Click Submit.

You can erase the information you have selected or entered into the text boxes at once by clicking Reset.

To prevent users from parking on specific domains, add the domain you wish to block to the following file: /usr/local/cpanel/etc/commondomains
