Piped Log Configuration

For WHM version 11.38

This feature lets you enable or disable piping of Apache access logs.

This feature can be useful if your server is slowed by frequent Apache restarts caused by log processing. Enabling this feature causes WHM to pipe Apache access logs to a separate process, so that Apache does not need to restart every time the logs are processed.

note Note: This feature is not supported with version 1.3 of the Apache web server.

To enable or disable piping:

  1. Click the Enable piped Apache logs checkbox.
  2. Click Save.
