Restore Multiple Backups

This feature will allow you to restore multiple accounts simultaneously with their most recent individual backups. It is important to remember that, for this feature to work, you should have enabled account backups on the Configure Backups page.

To restore multiple accounts simultaneously:

1. Select whether you would like to restore the most recent monthly, weekly, or daily backup.
2. Select the accounts that you would like to restore by clicking their corresponding checkboxes in the menu on the left.
3. Configure the other options within the menu.
   • Only recreate accounts if necessary.
   • The Give IP Address option will assign the account a new IP address from the IP address pool.
   • Note: If the account that you are restoring holds subdomains, make sure to restore their entries by clicking the appropriate checkbox.
   • If you wish to restore an account’s MySQL databases or mail configuration file, click the corresponding checkbox.
   • You may use the Select Column button, below each column, to select all of the options within the column.
   • You may use the Deselect Column button, below each column, to deselect all of the options within the column.
   • You can use the Select All button below the menu to select all of the options within the menu.
   • You may also use the Reverse Selection button to uncheck any of the options previously selected while selecting those that were not selected.
4. Click Start Restore to begin the restoration process.
5. WHM will display a dialog box informing you that if you close the window or click your browser’s Back button, the restoration process will be aborted. Click OK.
6. You will be taken to a screen which shows the progress of the restoration.
   • To end the process, click Abort Restore.
   • To skip to the next account to be restored, click Skip Account.
7. WHM will display a dialog box telling you to close the window without clicking Back.
8. Click OK.
9. Close the Restoring progress window.
