Change Root Password

This feature allows you to change the root password of your web server without the old password.

Remember that a secure password should be used. A secure password contains no dictionary words and includes upper- and lower-case letters, numbers, and symbols. For help generating a secure password, see our password generator documentation.

To change your root password:

1. Enter the new desired password into the New Password field.
2. Confirm the password by typing it into the Confirm New Password field.
3. Click Change Password.
