Server Time

This feature allows you to accomplish 2 tasks. Here, you can set your server’s time zone and sync its time with the time server. This is very important because your server’s time needs to be set correctly for your cPanel license to work.

Set your server’s time zone

1. Select the appropriate time zone from the pull-down menu.
2. Click Change TimeZone.

Synchronize your server’s time with the time server

You may synchronize your server to your network’s time server. This is useful in updating your server’s time setting if it is incorrect. To synchronize your server’s time with the network time server, click Sync Time with Time Server.
