Upgrade/Downgrade an Account

This feature allows you to change an account’s package. This can be useful when a site’s popularity increases or decreases and the account’s owner wishes to change the hosting plan to better suit the new flow of traffic.

Note: Upgrading or downgrading an account’s hosting package using this screen will not affect its IP address or CGI access. To change these options, you will need to use the Change Site’s IP Address and Edit a Package features.

To change an account’s package:

1. Select the account you wish to modify.
   • You may use the Account Search feature to search for an account by domain or by user.
2. Click Modify.
3. Select the new package from the list.
4. Click Upgrade/Downgrade.

The package selection interface allows you to use the button to view the configuration of any package in the list. To view the configuration, simply select the account from the list and scroll over the button.
