For cPanel & WHM 11.48

( Home >> Server Configuration >> Statistics Software Configuration )

Overview

You can use the features in this area to determine how often WHM will process the statistics on your server.

Set the log and bandwidth processing frequency

If you wish to redefine how often WHM will process logs for your server, enter the appropriate number of hours in the Log Processing Frequency text box and click Change.

If you wish to redefine how often WHM will process bandwidth statistics for your server, enter the appropriate number of hours in the Bandwidth Processing Frequency text box and click Change.

Note:

You must set the intervals in increments of 0.25 (which represents 15 minutes).

For example, you could enter:

  • 4 — for every 4 hours
  • 4.25 — for every 4 hours, 15 minutes
  • 4.5 — for every 4 hours, half hour
  • 4.75 — for every 4 hours, 45 minutes

Statistics Processing Times

To define a more precise schedule, click Configure Statistic Process Time Schedule under Statistics Schedule. You can select the hours in which log analysis will not be performed. Click Save to store the changes to the server. You should make sure to only process statistics at off-peak hours, when your server processes fewer requests.

Notes:

  • If your server is very busy, logs may take longer than an hour to be fully analyzed. Make sure you allow sufficient time for log analysis by leaving an adequate number of hours unchecked.
  • The times that you select in the Statistics Processing Times table only affect the statistics programs (AnalogAWStatsWebalizer and Logaholic). This schedule does not control how cpanellogd processes bandwidth statistics internally, which is necessary for bandwidth reports in cPanel & WHM. cpanellogd may still process statistics in blackout hours, and will use minimal resources. The frequency with which cpanellogd processes data is controlled through the Bandwidth Processing Frequency section.

Additional Options

You can ensure that backups and log analysis do not occur simultaneously. Because both backups and log analysis are resource-intensive tasks, this will help to maintain fast cPanel and website load times. Select the box under Additional Options, then click Save.
