How to Purchase a Comet Backup License

Overview

Comet Backup provides data protection for disaster recovery and business continuity. Comet Backup uses WebPros Storage (powered by Wasabi) to provide secure, reliable backups of your server’s data.

Purchase a Comet Backup license from Manage2

Important:

To purchase a Comet Backup license through Manage2, you must be a cPanel Partner, and your server must already have a cPanel & WHM license.

To purchase a Comet Backup license, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Manage2 interface.
  2. In the Licenses section, click Add License.
  3. Select the group to which you wish to add the Comet Backup license.
  4. Select the desired Comet Backup package:
    • Comet Backup 1TB for cPanel — 1 TB of WebPros Storage.
    • Comet Backup Base for cPanel — Local storage only. No WebPros Storage.
      Important:

      If you select this package, you cannot change to a different package later.

    • Comet Backup 10GB for cPanel — 10 GB of WebPros Storage.
    • Comet Backup 50GB for cPanel — 50 GB of WebPros Storage.
    • Comet Backup 100GB for cPanel — 100 GB of WebPros Storage.
    • Comet Backup 250GB for cPanel — 250 GB of WebPros Storage.
    • Comet Backup 500GB for cPanel — 500 GB of WebPros Storage.
  5. Enter the IPv4 address to associate with the license.
  6. Click Add Licenses.

A success message containing the activation code will appear at the top of the Manage2 interface. We recommend that you copy and paste this code into a file for your records.
