How to Add Custom Sitejet Templates

Last modified: January 16, 2025

Overview

cPanel & WHM Partners can add custom templates to Sitejet to provide them to their cPanel users.

Request Sitejet Studio access

To create custom templates, Partners must first gain access to the Sitejet Studio website. Partners can do this either of the following ways:

  • Contact their cPanel & WHM sales manager, who will provide access credentials.
  • Sign up for their own account on the Sitejet Studio website, then contact their sales manager to enable custom templates.

Create custom templates

Once a Partner has access to Sitejet Studio, they can log in and add a custom template through one of the following methods:

Create a new website-based template

To create a new website-based template in Sitejet Studio, navigate to the Manager interface and perform the following steps:

  1. Click + Website. The Create new website menu will appear.
  2. In the Website name text box, enter a name for your new website-based template. Click Add. The Templates interface will appear.
  3. Choose a template from Sitejet’s template library. You may click Preview to evaluate these templates further.
  4. When you have found the right template for your business needs, click Choose.
  5. Customize your template.
  6. Once you have customized your template, click Ctrl and S to save, or click the Save icon (save icon). Then, return to the Manager interface and find your template in the Websites section. It will have the same name you entered in the Website name text box. For example, if you named your template Custom Template, look for Custom Template here.
  7. Open the Actions menu with the three-dot icon (three-dot menu icon) and select Create as template. The Create new template interface will appear.
  8. Enter a new name for your template in the Website name text box, then click Add. The Templates interface will appear. Your template will be listed in the My templates section, and will be provided to your cPanel users.

To customize your template from the My templates section, click Edit template. To return to your template’s interface, click Manage template.

Add a prebuilt template

To add an existing template as a custom template in Sitejet Studio, select Templates in the top navigation bar and perform the following steps:

  1. Choose a template from Sitejet’s template library. You may click Preview to evaluate these templates further.
  2. When you have found the right template for your business needs, click Create new. The Create New Website interface will appear.
  3. Enter a new name for your template in the Website name text box, then click Add. Your template’s interface will appear. It will have the name you entered in the Website name text box. For example, if you named your template Custom Template, your template’s interface will title itself Custom Template.
  4. To provide this template to your cPanel users without further modification, open the Actions menu by clicking the three-dot icon (three-dot menu icon) and select Create as template. The Create new template interface will appear.
    Note:

To customize the template before providing it to your cPanel users, click Edit website.

  5. Enter a new name for your template in the Website name text box, then click Add. The Templates interface will appear. Your template will be listed in the My templates section, and will be provided to your cPanel users.

To customize your template from the My templates section, click Edit template. To return to your template’s interface, click Manage template.
