How to purchase a domain from the Domains interface

Last modified: 2026 July 22

Overview

If your hosting provider has enabled the feature, you can search for and purchase domains directly from cPanel’s Domains interface (cPanel » Home » Domains » Domains). The available domains, pricing, supported top-level domains (TLDs), and checkout are all provided by your hosting provider’s store. To add a temporary or registered domain instead, see our Domains documentation.

Purchase a new domain

To purchase a new domain, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Domains interface (cPanel » Home » Domains » Domains).
  2. Click Create a New Domain and select Purchase a domain.
  3. Enter your domain in the Search for a domain text box.
  4. Click Search Options to refine your search. For example, you can prioritize top-level domains (TLD) like .com or .net.
  5. Click Search. The system will display a list of available domains.
  6. Click Purchase to add a domain to your cart. Then, click Continue to go to your hosting provider’s store and complete the checkout process.

When you manage a domain in your account, the system will recommend related domains that you can purchase to benefit your primary domain. To purchase a recommended domain, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Explore Domains to review recommended domains or search for other domains.
  2. Click Purchase to add a domain to your cart. Then, click Continue. The browser will automatically navigate to your hosting provider’s store to complete the purchase process.

After your purchase, the system will automatically add the domain to your cPanel account. You can view the new domains in cPanel’s Domains interface (cPanel » Home » Domains » Domains).
