Overview
This interface displays web server log retention settings for all cPanel accounts on your server. You can view accounts that use the server’s default retention period or custom retention settings.
View retention settings
The interface displays a table with the following information for each cPanel account:
- User — The cPanel username.
- Domain — The account’s primary domain name.
- Retention Setting — How long the system retains the logs for this account.
- If the user has configured a custom retention period, the interface displays this period in days.
- If the user has not configured a custom retention period, the interface displays the server’s default retention period.
- Actions — Actions to perform for the account. Click Manage Logs to open cPanel’s Raw Access interface (cPanel » Home » Metrics » Raw Access) and view or configure the account’s log retention settings.
To search for an account or domain, enter the cPanel username or domain in the Search text box.
To change the server’s default retention period, use the Number of days to retain web server logs before purging them setting in WHM’s Tweak Settings interface (WHM » Server Configuration » Tweak Settings).
