Overview

The WebPros Dashboard plugin (WHM » Plugins » WebPros Dashboard) connects your cPanel & WHM server to the WebPros Dashboard. You can use the WebPros Dashboard to manage the status, websites, alerts, and tools of multiple servers. This plugin replaces the cpanel-plugin-installer.sh script, which required manual execution from the console.

Note:
  • You may connect an unlicensed cPanel & WHM server and purchase a license later. For more information, see our How to Purchase a cPanel License documentation.
  • This plugin does not support DNSONLY installations, mail node servers, database node servers, DNS node servers, or other worker node profiles.

Connect your server

To connect your server to the WebPros Dashboard, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Connect to the WebPros Dashboard. The system opens a new browser tab with a one-time registration link for WebPros Dashboard.
  2. Log in to your WebPros Dashboard account and approve the connection. You do not need to enter an API key.
  3. Return to WHM and verify the connection status.

Check your server’s connection status

The Server Identity section displays an overview of your connection.

  • Connection Status — The current state of your connection. For example, Connected or Not Connected.
  • Dashboard Server ID — The identifier that WebPros Dashboard assigns to your server.

Disconnect your server

To disconnect your server from the WebPros Dashboard, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Disconnect. The system clears your server’s connection status in WHM.
  2. Log in to the WebPros Dashboard and remove your server from your account. For more information, see our Add or remove a server with WebPros Dashboard documentation.
Important:

You must disconnect your server from both WHM and WebPros Dashboard to completely remove the integration.

Manage the connection from the command line

WHM root users can manage the WebPros Dashboard connection from the command line with /usr/local/cpanel/bin/wp-dashboard. This utility supports the following options:

  • generate-link — Prints a WebPros Dashboard registration link to your terminal. Copy the link into a browser to connect your server. This provides the same registration flow as clicking Connect to the WebPros Dashboard in the interface.
  • status — Displays your server’s connection status and its Dashboard Server ID.
  • disconnect — Revokes the WHM API token for the WebPros Dashboard and clears your server’s local connection state.
